It is run along the lines of a private country house rather than as an impersonal hotel and while extremely comfortable it is not pretentious. The tranquil informality lends itself to those seeking a relaxing few days, enjoying our house and grounds or exploring the beauty of Lough Corrib, Connemara, Galway and beyond.

Our 12 bedrooms are individually styled and offer undisturbed views of either Lough Corrib or the mountains to the North. Guests have exclusive use of three comfortable sitting rooms to relax beside open turf fires, enjoy the breathtaking view, browse our many bookshelves or quietly snooze to the sound of… nothing.
