On April 15th 2022 Inis Mór welcomes the return of Aran Island Ferries, the award winning cruise from Galway City docks to Inis Mór via the Cliffs of Moher has commenced with its seasonal sailings.

These sailings offered daily from April 15th to September 15th. Awarded “Best Irish Experience 2021” it is an adventure not to be missed. If visiting Ireland from abroad, or for locals this truly is a unique experience.

Setting off from the docks in Galway City, sail the beautiful Galway Bay, spending the night on Inis Mór. Get to see the famous Cliffs of Moher from below. The views from the cruise puts into perspective the Cliffs and the scale of one of Ireland’s most famous attractions.

This new experience launched in 2021 while Aran Island Ferries introduced their new vessel “Saoirse na Farraige” to the flock. ” Saoirse na Farraige” is Irish for ” Freedom of the Sea” and it is truly a fitting name.
